Since 2017 we have run a iBWIM measurement station on the Nakhon Nayak bridge in Thailand.
The bridge is situated in Nakhon Nayak province northeast of Bangkok.
The bridge is instrumented with eight strain gauges under each lane. Six gauges are placed in a line perpendicular to the traffic flow: these carry out the load estimation. Two gauges are placed before and after this line, and measure velocity. Two laser rangefiders supplement these measurements with data detailing the location of the vehicle axles.
